Meet the Space + Matter team
It all began in 2008 with designing sustainable single spaces within homes - mainly bathrooms and kitchens - and now we manage multi home construction and luxurious commercial projects.

Alexandra graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Interior Architecture.
In her career, she has extensive experience designing high-end retail, commercial and residential projects. She launched Space + Matter in 2008 as a full service interior design consultation and has grown it to huge success to its current form.
Alexandra is extremely knowledgeable about sustainability, ensuring it is a key factor throughout the design process in each project. She goes above and beyond to ensure every client is satisfied throughout their project.

Mathew is a Chartered Builder and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
From his beginnings as a junior tradesman, he was promoted through the ranks to senior management positions in several multi-national companies. He is experienced in complex high end residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Mathew oversees and directs all construction elements of our projects and is an expert in sustainable building materials and practices. His passion is in traditional construction methods and conservation building practices.
